Retention Essentials

Simple & Effective Intervention

What if you could easily identify and focus retention solutions on at risk students?

Retention Essentials utilizes Essentials’ e3, a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool, to determine the core psychology, behaviors and motivators of your top performing graduates and your incoming class to identify students that are at risk to drop. Our easy to follow student profiles allow your retention team to provide student-specific counseling to help each student with those areas that are potential barriers to their success.

Our web-based assessment is simple and cost effective to administer to all incoming students, taking less than 10 minutes for the average user to complete. Participants simply check the words they feel best describes them from a list of 300 adjectives.

Methodology

logo_e3The e3 measures and assesses 21 key behavioral attributes and motivators of your top performers. We then assess your incoming students against the profile of your top performers to determine top performers and at risk students in your incoming class. Our easy to follow student profiles allow your retention team to provide student-specific counseling to help each student with those areas that are potential barriers to their success.

Our deliverables:

  • Top Performers Profile: a profile of the behavioral attributes of your top performers based on assessments completed by successful graduates.
  • Student At-Risk Report: report sent to you after the completion of each e3, ranking risk on a scale of 1-5.
  • Manager’s Report: individual student assessments with counseling recommendations, including the individual’s 7 key attributes and 3 primary growth areas. Reports are available for both retention managers and students.
  • Incoming Class Assessment: a summary profile of your incoming classes’ behavioral profile.
